Meylin Hernandez Rizo began dancing at the age of five. She attended Miami Arts Charter School where she studied Ballet, Modern, Contemporary, and Jazz. During her time at Miami Arts Charter School, she was a part of the MAC performance ensemble and had the opportunity to work with Elisa Clark/ Robert Battle, Kelly Robotham, Amanda Tae, Marcus J. Willis, and Demetia and Voltaire Wade-Greene.

While attending Miami Arts Charter School, Meylin also trained at Xpressit Dance Center where she was a member of the Competition team. She has enjoyed assisting and now teaching her own dance classes.

Meylin has choreographed different works that have been showcased at Miami Arts Charter School and the Xpressit Dance Center annual recital. Meylin is currently studying Dance and Chemistry at Nova Southeastern University and she looks forward to sharing her love and passion for dance with the students at Studio C.
